Lillie M. Bauer, age 93, of Waterloo, Iowa, died December 20, 2012, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Waterloo. She was born April 20, 1919, to parents Karl & Marie Dangelowsky.

Visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge on Wednesday, December 26, 2012; at 10:00 a.m. with services to be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Whittemore, Iowa. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge is in charge of arrangements.

Lillie attended Fort Dodge public schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1936, attended the Fort Dodge Business College, and was employed as secretary in the district office of the International Harvester Company for 14 years. On May 22, 1949, she married Ralph J. Bauer of Wesley, IA. They resided in Fort Dodge until March 1951, and then moved to Whittemore, IA, where they owned and operated the International Harvester dealership there and at Emmetsburg. Her husband Ralph preceded her in death on April 10, 1985, and she then moved back to Fort Dodge. In 1988 she married Armin Lauck of Algona, IA. He died in 1989. She relocated to Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Waterloo in 2004.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and member and past president of Women of E.L.C.A., member of the Fort Dodge Women's Club and Trinity Hospital Auxiliary. She served as a volunteer at the hospital, and was a member of National and Webster County Humane Society. Lillie was an avid bridge player, loved playing the piano and organ, and, most of all, being with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Marcia Bauer of Waterloo, IA; daughter Michele (Doug) Baade of Rock Rapids, IA; son Lance (Sharon) Bauer of Winterset, IA; sister Irmgard Pingel of Waukee; and grandchildren, Melissa, Kyle, and Brent Baade, and Allyn and Nick Bauer. Also, preceding her in death are her parents, brother Eric, and sister Elsie Johnson.
