In addition, the Dodgers received third-place showings from Lang (100 freestyle, 55.95 and 200 freestyle, 1:57.28), Provin (100 backstroke, 1:05.63), the 200 freestyle relay ( Pecka, Peter Lyon, Reid Cooper and Hage, 1:44.90) and the 400 freestyle relay (Lang, Pecka, Tucker Van Wey and Asay, 3:50.65).

"We're definitely starting to look better after having kind of a little setback at Marshalltown (in a 99.5-70.5 loss last week)," said FDSH head coach Joel Greathouse. "Everyone came together (Thursday) and improved their times throughout the lineup, which should give us some momentum heading into Saturday."

Fort Dodge hosts its annual Rusty Garst Invitational Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
