I picked up a Twist and Shout at a store today.
I just read "Acts of Kindness."
I had an act of kindness to me.
I was in Sioux Falls, S.D., with my daughter at Gordman's (we should have a Gordman's in Fort Dodge).
I was lifting a rug into my cart and a woman in her 40s saw me and helped me. She said "Merry Christmas" and handed me a beautiful Christmas card. I didn't know and never ever saw her before. I opened the card and inside was a gift card to Hy-Vee for $25. I called my daughter (she was in another part of the store). I said "Chris come here." She came, read the card and cried. What a beautiful gesture. Thank you Anne Curry. You are a beautiful person inside and out.
