MANSON - The 12th-ranked (Class 2A) Manson Northwest Webster girls picked up their seventh consecutive victory, stopping Storm Lake St. Mary's Friday night, 68-29.

Ellie Herzberg scored a game-high 26, while Faith Troshynski added 10.

Cowgirls go on late run to stun Webster City

WEBSTER CITY - The Clarion-Goldfield girls went on a late closing run to stun Webster City Friday night, 32-23.

The Cowgirls outscored the Lynx 22-1 over the final 12-plus minutes to claim the victory.

Jossie Sann scored a game-high 15 to lead Clarion-Goldfield, while Rachel Kauffman scored seven for the Lynx.

ROCKWELL CITY - Sophomore Haley Birks scored 24 points to lead South Central Calhoun past Sioux Central Friday night, 37-31.

The Titans (14-2 overall) have won six straight and nine of their last 10.

South Central Calhoun trailed by one entering the fourth, but outscored Sioux Central (9-6) 10-3 over the final eight minutes.

Andrea Christensen scored a team-high 15 for the Mustangs, while Renee Maneman added 14 and Claudia Larson scored 11.

Breanna Grossnickle had a game-high 16 to lead the Eagles.
