ESTHERVILLE - Turning in a strong performance on both ends of the court, the Iowa Central women's basketball team rolled to a decisive 66-42 ICCAC victory over Iowa Lakes Wednesday night.
The Tritons (13-5 overall, 4-2 in the league) jumped out to a 36-9 halftime advantage and never looked back, snapping a mini two-game losing streak.
Katie Dentlinger paced the Iowa Central offensive charge with 18 points, while Lydia Harvey (St. Edmond) added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Myangel Johnson (21) was the only player to reach double figures for the Lakers (7-15).
Next action for the Tritons is Saturday at Southeastern (13-7, 4-3) at 1 p.m. in Keokuk.
