To the editor:
I am writing to request a "yes" vote from you on Tuesday to renew the physical plant and equipment levy.
It's time for Fort Dodge to come together as a community to ensure that our students and school staff are provided a safe and educationally equipped environment in which to grow and learn.
As a retired, 32-year employee of the Fort Dodge Community School District, I have seen PPEL funds used over the years to enhance our music programs, to begin and maintain our students' technology growth, finance district-wide transportation needs and provide the upkeep and maintenance of school-owned buildings.
Investment in the future of our youths and the future of Fort Dodge is a must and the right thing to do.
Vote "yes" on Tuesday.
