An anonymous donor, working through Webster County Crime Stoppers, has offered a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of an armed robber that struck CS Bank on Thursday.

The announcement was made by the Fort Dodge Police Department Friday morning.

An unidentified man walked into CS Bank around 9:16 Thursday morning and ran off after demanding money from the tellers.

He fled the scene on foot.

Police are also seeing if there's a connection between the robbery and a shooting threat at Feelhaver Elementary School just 16 minutes before the robbery. At this point, police are treating the investigations as separate.
