EMMETSBURG — Marguerite Wentzel, Shakopee, Minn., and Nicholas Ohrtman, Des Moines, are engaged.
Parents of the couple are Ted and Nancy Wentzel, Emmetsburg, and Stewart and Kathie Ohrtman, of Ringsted.
A July 20 wedding is planned.
Wentzel is studying counselor education and supervision at Minnesota State University, in Mankato, Minn., and will finish her doctoral degree in May. She is employed as a school counselor at Shakopee High School, in Shakopee.
Ohrtman is a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture studies. He is an international sales manager at Ag Leader Technology, in Ames.
