Zoning changes to support the creation of a new CVS/pharmacy and an entertainment center are on Monday's agenda for the Fort Dodge City Council.
The council meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 819 First Ave. S., with a pair of workshop discussions. A $2.2 million sanitary sewer project planned for South 19th Street and an update on proposed tax abatements for housing construction are to be discussed.
The regular business meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
During that session the council will consider the first reading of zoning changes on Fifth Avenue South between 20th and 21st streets to prepare for a CVS/pharmacy expected to open in 2014.
The elected officials will also consider zoning changes for the entertainment center proposed for 32nd Street and First Avenue South.
