MASON CITY - Theresa Doyle had a career night for Iowa Central on Saturday.
The St. Edmond graduate scored 26 points to lead the Tritons (17-6 overall, 8-3 ICCAC) to a 78-58 victory over NIACC to stay tied with DMACC for second place in the ICCAC.
Doyle was 7 of 10 from three-point range. She hit four triples and had 16 points in the first half.
"Theresa was just tremendous for us,'' said Iowa Central head coach Craig Carlson. "She finished around the rim really well and just played outstanding.''
The Tritons did struggle from the free throw line, going 7-for-23 and 3 of 15 in the second half. NIACC was 23-for-38 from the stripe.
Miliakere Koyaminavure had 16 points and Lydia Harvey added 11 with four assits.

Katie Dentlinger had nine points, but pulled down 16 rebounds.
The Tritons are back in action on Wednesday when they head to Marshalltown. Tip is set for 5 p.m.
