The special snow or ice removal ordinance is in effect on commercial snow routes in Fort Dodge, beginning at 11 p.m. today through 8 a.m. Tuesday. In addition, the following streets will be cleared and the city is requiring no parking during those hours:
Second Avenue North from North ninth Street to North 12th Street - both sides of street
First Avenue North from North 12th Street to North 13th Street - both sides of street
Central Avenue from 15th Street to 21st Street - both sides of street
First Avenue South from South 15th Street to Veterans Bridge - both sides of street
Police will tag and tow vehicles on these streets in violation of the ordinance.
