Already planning for next year

To the editor:

April was Child Abuse Prevention Month and the local Webster County Family Development Council would like to thank all those who attended the Protecting Iowa's Children Conference at Iowa Central Community College on April 4. Linda Kalin, director from Poison Control Center, was on hand to talk about synthetic drugs and give knowledge and education to local agencies. She was a fabulous presenter and everyone commented on how much they had learned. Iowa Central's facility and location were a perfect option and we thank them for allowing us to hold our day there. We would also like to thank Hy-Vee and the Incarcerated Veterans Organization from Fort Dodge Correctional Facility for their donations and support. The webster County Family Development Council is already planning for next year's activities.
