FD man charged with burglary
Christopher Lee Gordan, 3302 Fifth Ave. S, was charged with one count of third-degree burglary and one count of first-degree theft Saturday morning in Webster County Magistrate court.
According to the complaint, Gordan is accused of entering a Fort Dodge residence on Jan. 25, 2012, and removing property with a value in excess of $10,000.
Magistrate William Habhab set bail at $10,000 for the theft charge and $5,000 on the burglary. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 10 in Webster County District Court.
In addition, Gordan was also charged with assault.
Third-degree burglary is a class D felony. First-degree theft is a Class C felony.
Man charged with theft in Fort Dodge
Louis Henry Payne Jr. 39, 1326 Third Ave. S. was charged with one count of first-degree theft in Webster County Magistrate Court Saturday morning.
According to the complaint, Payne is accused of taking $130.00 from a male victim at a Fort Dodge residence on Jan. 31, 2013 by intimidation.
Magistrate William Habhab set bail $10,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 10 in Webster County District Court.
First-degree theft is a Class C felony.
