Glasgo moves into new role

Leah Glasgo has been appointed as the vice president of rural development for UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's in Sioux City and UnityPoint Health - Trinity in Fort Dodge. Glasgo will move into her new role in July.

Glasgo has more 19 years of management experience, currently serving as president and chief executive officer of Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City. She has also held various leadership positions at Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic and at Boone County Hospital in Boone.

Glasgo earned a bachelor of science in nursing from University of Nebraska Medical Center and a master of healthcare administration from Des Moines University. She is a member of the Iowa Association of Healthcare Executives and board member of the Iowa Hospital Association Counsel of Membership Services and Education.

Glasgo is board certified in healthcare management as a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
