Six local human service agencies have partnered to present information on services available to adults and children with disabilities.

A panel discussion will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the LifeWorks/Northwoods vocational site across the street from Tom Thumb, at 1303 A Street.

Panelists represent Children and Families of Iowa; Elderbridge Agency on Aging, Iowa Home Care; LifeWorks Community Services; Northwoods Living, a Service of Opportunity Village; and Webster County Case Management. They will answer such questions as what services are available, who provides it, who to call, and how does payment work.

This is a free seminar that includes a light supper.

People interested in the presentation can register by calling LifeWorks at 576-2126.

The seminar was originally scheduled for May 2, but due to inclement weather was rescheduled for May 30.

The event is sponsored by Children and Families of Iowa, Iowa Home Care, LifeWorks, and Northwoods Living.
