Scott A. McQueen, a Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative based in Fort Dodge, received the company's Emerald Award, based on an outstanding year of helping clients achieve financial security.
"We're proud of financial professionals like Scott who are helping so many people develop plans to achieve financial security," said Northwestern Mutual Executive Vice President Todd M. Schoon.
Northwestern Mutual recognized McQueen at its 133rd annual meeting event, held in Milwaukee, Wis. in July. McQueen joins an exclusive group of representatives across the country who have achieved recognition.
A native of Fort Dodge, McQueen received a bachelor of science degree from Iowa State University. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church and serves on the finance committee, is on the board of directors for Northwest Bank - Fort Dodge, Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance Ambassador, the current president of United Way and Community Foundation of Northwest Iowa and board member of Sertoma Sundowners. McQueen has two adult children: Amy Hruska, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Thomas of Omaha, Neb.
