One injured in Monday crash

Webster County Sheriff's deputies and Iowa State Patrol troopers observe the scene of a two vehicle crash north of Fort Dodge Monday evening at the intersection of 170th Street and Webster County Road P59. According to Tropper Matt Eimers with the Iowa State Patrol, the Ford pickup truck was westbound on 170th Street when it failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a northbound Oldsmobile Tornado, coming to rest in the north ditch. The driver of the truck was ejected from the vehicle and taken by ambulance to Trinity Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries. Names of those involved and the condition of the driver were not available Monday evening. The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol. The Badger Fire Department, Fort Dodge Fire Department, Trinity Regional Medical Center paramedics, Webster County Sheriff's Department and Fort Dodge Police Department assisted at the scene.
