A two-car garage at 1126 S. 19th St. in Fort Dodge was left with significant structural damage Wednesday afternoon after a fire gutted the interior.
Fort Dodge Fire Department Lt. Steve Teske said that crew had the fire under control in less than 10 minutes after arriving on the scene. Crews spent most of the afternoon there.
A motorcycle, tools and other household items in the garage were damaged.
There were no vehicles inside it at the time of the blaze.
The nearby home sustained damage to its vinyl siding from radiant heat.
The home is owned by Nathan L. Wolfe, according to the Webster County assessor's website.
Teske said that the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the state fire marshal.
The Fort Dodge fire and police departments responded to the blaze.
There were no injuries.
