To the editor:
I just left a hearing at the Law Enforcement Center with a friend who is also very flustered, to hear the same thing we heard a week or so ago. We were trying to do the right thing for someone who needs help before it is too late and someone gets hurt or worse. The judge said the state funding for mental health is limited.
People, our governor just a few weeks ago, according to the article I read in the paper, he allocated over $500 million to two major corporations, and cut $28 million from mental health. People, I ask you the taxpayers, what is wrong with this picture?
