Moberly — 85 years old

WEBSTER CITY — Bettye Moberly, Webster City, will celebrate her 85th birthday Thursday.
Cards may be sent to her at 1605 Lynx Ave., No. 107, Webster City, IA 50595.
Her family includes Pam and Jim Burnett, and Paris and Don McNelly, all of Webster City; Pat and Mel Wilson, Prescott Valley, Ariz.; Paul Moberly, Glendora, Calif.; Price and Kay Moberly, Williams; and Penny Moberly and Kathy Wilson, Elkhart. She has 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Husband Maris Moberly is deceased.
Bettye Ertl was born Sept. 12, 1928, in Fort Dodge. She attended school in Fort Dodge, graduating in 1946 from Corpus Christi Academy. She married Maris Moberly on Nov. 18, 1948, and they moved to Webster City. She worked for 24 years at Frigidaire/Electrolux before retiring in 1991. She is a member of T.A.T., the American Legion Auxiliary, the Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary, various clubs and does volunteer work.
