Craig Schlienz joined First American Bank as vice president, community banking project manager, in July at the Fort Dodge office.
Schlienz was vice president, loan operations, at First Federal Bank from October 2002 to June 2012, when the bank was acquired by Great Western Bank, where he continued to work as branch manager until July.
He has a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Iowa and graduated from the Barret Graduate School of Banking, Memphis, Tenn.
His primary responsibilities include assisting with the bank's community banking business model and providing support for the bank's retail loan growth and overall retail banking strategy.
Schlienz is a member of Fort Dodge Noon Kiwanis and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, volunteer planning committee and past event chair.
