MASON CITY - The Iowa Central women's golf team won their second consecutive meet.
The Tritons captured the team title at the NIACC Invitational on Monday.
Sarah Crafton (88) finished second for Iowa Central. Taylor McGoldrick and Fort Dodge graduate Courtney Thrams tied for third with 91s. Meg DeHaven (92) and Mandi Johnson (93) were fourth and fifth respectively.
"Again we had a total team effort and came out on top,'' said Iowa Central head coach David Barwin. "Sarah backed up her round (Sunday) with a solid score in the windy conditions.''
The men finished third with Matt Sturgill finishing fourth with a 76. Cody Brandau (83) was 19th, Brenton Pohlman (88) was 24th and Jon Smily (92) was 28th and Logan Pankey (99) was 31st.
