To the editor:
I am writing to endorse my husband, Jeffery Halter, for City Council at large. My husband is a wonderful spouse, humanitarian, leader, caring individual - and so much more. With these qualities that he has, it is easy for me to endorse him for City Council to continue positive changes in Fort Dodge.
Jeffrey Halter and I moved to Fort Dodge about nine years ago. We built a business, a home and our lives together here. While working full time as a teacher and today as the coordinator of the Transitional Alliance Program that assists young adults transition into working adults who can live independently. Additionally, he is heavily involved in our community as a volunteer. Most recently, he performed in "The Inconvenient Corpse" at Hawkeye Community Theater. He also serves on the Growth Alliance Image Committee, as secretary of the Fort Dodge Young Professionals and assisted PICA with projects this summer.
Jeffrey Halter has the amazing ability to balance a variety of views in order to achieve a fair, educated and concise plan. He is able to remain calm and clear to find common ground. He is excited to help make our community the best place for all of us to live and grow.
Please join me in voting for Jeffrey Halter for City Council at large.
