Thirty-two students from Fort Dodge Senior High recently auditioned for the 2013 Iowa High School Music Association's All-State Music Festival. Twelve Dodger musicians were selected as All-State representatives, with another selected as an alternate.
"All 32 students have been working hard preparing their music for the duration of the school year, and for many even before the school year started," said Matt Dress, FDSH vocal instructor. "I'm so proud of all of our students. Only about 17 percent of those who audition are selected so we have outstanding representation from Senior High."
The students chosen will perform at the All-State Music Festival at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at Hilton Coliseum, Ames. All seats for the concert are reserved and can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com (search for Iowa All-State).
