To the editor:
I was pleased to see Cargill and CJ go fully operational this week.
We're seeing the benefit of Gov. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds' work recruiting CJ to co-locate with Cargill at the plant.
The operation represents a $500 million investment and 300 jobs for our area.
Gov. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds should be commended for their commitment to job creation in our region and across the state.
Without their successful trade mission to Korea to recruit CJ to come to Fort Dodge, our community would be without the new, high-paying jobs and economic investment.
Thank you, Gov. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds, for your continued work to bring jobs to our community.
