CARROLL - The Fort Dodge boys swim team picked up two victories in Carroll on Tuesday night.
The Dodgers (2-1 overall) beat Spencer 72-22 and Carroll 64-30.
"It was great to get these wins,'' said Fort Dodge head coach Joel Greathouse. "Carroll got the best of us last year, so to get two quick wins on the season is nice."
Fort Dodge came away with eight first place finishes and Rob Leigh, Josh Lee and Cole Davis were all double winners on the night.
Leigh was crowned champion in the 200 individual medley (2:12.68) and the 100 butterfly (57.76).
Lee won the 50 freestyle (23.45) and the 100 freestyle (52.03).
Davis, only a freshman, was first in the 200 freestyle (2:02.76) and the 500 freestyle (5:41.39).
The Dodger team of Caleb Asay, Nick Sanford, Leigh and Lee were first in the 200 medley relay (1:49.17).
Leigh, freshman Mitch Emery, Davis and Lee won the 200 freestyle (1:36.45).
"Josh Lee had some good races and had a big impact on the meet,'' Greathouse said. "Leigh had some real important swims.
"Davis and Emery jumped in big as freshmen.''
Finishing second was Mitch Emery (2:05.24 in 200 freestyle); Bryce Rogers (6:21.72 in 500 freestyle); Asay (1:05.25 in 100 backstroke) and Sanford (1:13.49 in 100 breaststroke).
The 400 freestyle team of Tucker VanWey, Emery, Davis and Asay were second (3:48.21).
Third place finishers wereAsay (2:25.22 in 200 IM); Emery (1:04.09 in 100 butterfly); Troy Brandt (1:14.80 in 100 breaststroke).
Sanford, Nick Pecka, VanWey and Brandt were third in the 200 freestyle (1:37.67). In the 400 freestyle relay, Pecka, Zach Provin, Riley Helmers and Brandt were third (3:59.76).
The Dodgers are back in action on Saturday at the Boone Invitational.
