Cowgirls top

Eagle Grove

CLARION - The Clarion-Goldfield girls picked up a 58-37 North Central Conference victory over Eagle Grove Tuesday night.

Jennalee Hinkle tallied a game-high 21 points for the Cowgirls (2-0 overall, 2-0 in the NCC).

Jossie Sann (14) and Maddie Disney (13) were next in line offensively for Clarion-Goldfield.

For the Eagles, Kylee Almond led the way with 18 points.

Elle Ruffridge scored 19 points for the Indians (2-0 overall), while Hannah Stafford chipped in 13.

For the E-Hawks (0-1), Ashton Connelly delivered a game-high 28 points.

Zoe Schneider (12) and Katie Clough (10) each scored in double figures for the Warriors (2-0 overall).

With the loss, the Broncos fell to 0-1 on the season.

Hannah Corey led the way for the Titans (2-0 overall) with 17 points.

Michaela Graffunder and Kori Assman each chipped in 10 points for SCC.

For the Wheelers (1-1), Susie Bylund tallied 25 points.
