LARRY FRANK MILLER

Larry Frank Miller, 61, of Fort Dodge, IA went to be with our Lord December 31, 2013. He was born to Roberta "Jean" Tomlinson and Frank Miller of Ankeny in Biloxi, MS, March 1, 1952. Larry graduated from Ankeny High in 1970 and later obtained his CLU and LUTCF financial designations. He married his high school sweetheart, Kathy Hess, September 17, 1970.

Larry's career with Farm Bureau Financial Services began in 1972 as an agent. He was later promoted to Division Manager and in 1985 became Agency Manager of the North Central Iowa Agency. His passion was helping people and watching them succeed in business and in life. His accomplishments at Farm Bureau include 19 All American, 5 Super All Americans, 8 Royal Courts, 2 Pacesetters, and 2 Family Summer trips. Larry loved spending time with his God, family, friends and people in general. He loved his time at "the lake", boating, fishing, golfing and entertaining. He and Kathy are members of the First Presbyterian church in Fort Dodge.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathy Miller of Fort Dodge; two sons; Todd Miller (Jonnell Miller), Nate Miller (Denise Miller) all of Ankeny. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Abbie Miller, Caden Miller and Sophia Miller all of Ankeny.

Larry was greeted at the gates by his mother Roberta "Jean" Tomlinson, his grandparents, little angel "Buster Brown" and many loving friends and family.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 4, 2014 at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Austin Hill officiating. The visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Fort Dodge, IA.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be designated for cancer research at Mayo Clinic at www.mayoclinic.org/giving-to-mayo or mailed to Department of Development, Mayo Clinic, 200 First St. SW, Rochester, MN 55905 or Paula J.
