Cougars earn home win

MANSON - The Manson Northwest Webster boys downed Pocahontas Area by a 67-59 final Tuesday night.

Hudson Spedding tallied 20 points for the Cougars (7-4 overall), who outscored the Indians 20-12 in the fourth quarter.

Jackson Johnson also contributed 17 points for MNW, while Cal Twait added 16.

For Pocahontas Area (4-8), Aaron Aljets (17), Austin Roetman (14) and Dominic Johnson (12) all reached double digits in scoring.

Garrigan trumps

Eagle Grove, 79-43

ALGONA - The Bishop Garrigan boys posted a 79-43 victory over Eagle Grove here Tuesday night.

Nathan Krieps led the Golden Bears with 30 points, while Michael Berke and Reece Wadle each had 11.

Zach Ploeger matched Krieps, posting 30 for the Eagles.

Frosh Jaeschke leads Prairie Valley

GOWRIE - Freshman Dakota Jaeschke had a coming out party here Tuesday night, leading the Prairie Valley boys to a 79-40 victory over Southeast Webster-Grand.

Jaeschke scored 20 points, while Dylan Anderson added 14 and Austin Wood 13.

For the Eagles, Cade King had a team-high 12.
