MAUREEN D. JONES
Maureen had an enormous soft spot for those less fortunate and was always thinking of others. She often baked goodies for friends and neighbors, shared flowers from her garden, tended to many gravesites for family members of friends who lived out of the area and volunteered countless hours, especially at all the area nursing homes. Sitting still just was not in her nature!
She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, loved to cook, garden, play Yahtzee and watch sports, especially her beloved Iowa Hawkeyes! Maureen loved life and her cheerful smile and ever-present positive attitude will be greatly missed!
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Dale Mallory, Ed Mallory and his wife Alice; a sister Lois in infancy; a brother-in-law Sam Lynn.
She is survived by her four children: Steve Jones and his wife Barbara of Twin Lakes, Iowa; Gary Jones of Cave Creek, Arizona; Tammy Livingston and her husband Kirby of Lakeland, Minnesota; DeeAnn Sommers and her husband Jerry of Lakeland, Minnesota; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a sister Jerry Lynn of Michigan City, Indiana; a sister-in-law Jadzia Mallory of Menomonie, Wisconsin; also several nieces and nephews and many friends.
