GOWRIE — Maureen Rittgers, of Gowrie, will celebrate her 80th birthday Monday.

Her family includes Brian and Pat Rittgers, of Indianapolis, Indiana; Veronica and Scott Morton, of Appleton, Wisconsin; Mark Rittgers, Lynn Rittgers, and Rick and Jaci Rittgers, all of Gowrie; and Chris and Gloria Rittgers of Fairfax, Virginia. She has 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her husband Dick is deceased.

Maureen Canavan was born Nov. 21, 1936, in Paton.
