Mitch Schroder

LEHIGH — Mitch Schroder, of Lehigh, will celebrate his 80th birthday on Thursday.

His family includes his wife, Bette, and Van Schroeder, of Shellsburg, and Tani Schroeder, of Temple Terrace, Florida. He has six grandchildren and eight grandchildren.

He was born Nov. 24, 1942, in rural Sumner. “Mr. Schro” taught Social Studies at Central Webster/Central Webster/Grand from 1967 to his retirement in 2001. He continued to substitute teach for another three years.
