Michael and Candy Pavik celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 1.

Their children are Kristin and Cory Weiss, Michael Jr. and Andrea Pavik, and Joshua Pavik, all of Fort Dodge. They have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

They were married on Dec. 1, 1972. He is a retired school principal, having served 31 years in Catholic education. She served 31 years as an elementary school teacher, 25 years in the Fort Dodge Community School District.
