Bob Pelz

MARSHALLTOWN — Bob Pelz, of Marshalltown, formerly of Webster City and Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 90th birthday on May 20.

His family includes Carol and Kevin Schoeppler, of West Des Moines; Deb and Andy Raymond, of Lehigh; Nancy and Jim Biersner, of Cedar Falls; and Susan Spangler, of Coon Rapids. He has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His wife, Jeanie, and daughter Donna Pelz are deceased.

He was born on May 20, 1933, in Blairsburg. He lived and worked in Webster City and Fort Dodge at Sears and as an appliance repairman for many years. He was a longtime member of the American Legion. In 2020, he moved to the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.
