Burnell Riedemann

Burnell Riedemann, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 100th birthday with a surprise birthday party from 4 to 7 p.m. July 12 at the VFW, 518 S. 29th St.

His family includes Sandra Heid and Dawn Riedemann, both of Fort Dodge. He has four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. His wife of 65 years, Phyllis Riedemann, passed away on Feb. 12, 2024.

Riedemann was born on July 16, 1924. He served in the National Guard and was a truck driver for many years. He lived in Cherokee until 2014 when he moved to Fort Dodge. He enjoys reading, riding bikes, puzzles and being outdoors.
