Rita Quade

MANSON — Rita M. Quade, of Manson, will celebrate her 100th birthday on Sept. 24. A surprise open house will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 14 at the MAC Center in Manson.

Her family includes John Quade, of Manson; Tom and Dana Quade, of Edgerton, Missouri; Jim and Jodi Quade, of Fort Myers, Florida; Paul and Kim Quade, of Manson; and Tim and Susan Quade, of Manson. She has 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Rita Marie Condon was born on Sept. 24, 1924. She married Paul Quade in June of 1946. She taught school for a short time before staying on the farm outside of Manson and raising her family. She is a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Manson.
