Bruce and Theresa Boland in 1965 and today

POLK CITY — Bruce and Theresa (Terri) Boland, of Polk City, formerly of Fort Dodge, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Wednesday.

Their family includes Valerie and Joel Harris, of Ankeny; Nanette Boland and Brian Butt, of Polk City; and Pamela and Jim Oglesby, of Polk City. They have three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Theresa Moore and Bruce Boland were married on Jan. 22, 1965, in St. Louis. They moved to Fort Dodge when they were in their 20s and raised their family there. They now live in Polk City.
