Alice Johnson

LEHIGH — Alice Johnson, of Lehigh, is celebrating her 95th birthday Tuesday with a card shower.

Cards may be sent to her at 9075 Taylor Road, Lehigh, IA 50557.

Her family includes David Fibiker, of Humboldt, Diane and Patrick McCalmont and two stepchildren. She also has two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren; many stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. Her husband, Norman H. Johnson, passed away on Feb. 14, 2010.

Alice M. Schoon was born on a farm on Feb. 18, 1930, to Bert and Jennie Schoon. She is an active member of the Christian Church, Lehigh. She was the owner/instructor of the Round Prairie Music Studio. She and her husband, as The Johnson Duo, entertained at many health care centers, churches and community events through the years. She was also the pianist for a number of area churches.
