Ruth Engels

Ruth Engels, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate her 100th birthday on May 4.

Her family includes Carol Royster, of Bettendorf; Cathy and Ralph Sonnickson, of Fort Dodge; Jim Engels, of Yuma Arizona; Mark Lammli, of Stanton, Nebraska; Steve Engels, of Waukolia, Hawaii; Dan and Patty Engels, of Boerne, Texas; and Ron Engels, of Portimao, Portugal. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband of 72 years, Duane Engels, is deceased.

She was born on May 4, 1925, in Bode. She retired from Central Lab in 1987.
