KYL closed for Thanksgiving

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday and remain closed through the weekend. The library will reopen at 10 a.m. on Dec. 2.

Blanden will be closed for Thanksgiving

The Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday and Friday. The museum will reopen from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 30.

Dayton Lions turkey dinner Sunday

DAYTON — The Dayton Lions Club will hold a Blue Mound turkey dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Dayton Community Center, Dayton. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 12 and under and free for preschoolers. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the event center.

First Covenant Choir presents Christmas Cantata

Second Sunday Supper will be held on Dec. 8

LEHIGH — The Lehigh Methodist Church will hold its Second Sunday Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 8. The meal will include chicken and noodles on mashed potatoes, desserts and a drink. The cost is a freewill donation.

Dickens of a Christmas vendor fair is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Fort Opera House, 1 Museum Road. There will be handcrafted items, artwork, music and Santa.
