April 11: Hank Kohler – A Trip Down the Mississippi

Growing up on a family farm in northwest Iowa in the ’50s and ’60s, nowadays Hank enjoys spending as much time as possible on lakes and rivers. In 2021 he decided to journey south from the Leaf River in Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. Along the 1,900-mile trip he and eight different companions helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for conservation efforts. Come hear Hank talk about his trip and the book he wrote detailing his journey.
