Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 216 will hold a special Christmas Celebration at 6 p.m. Thursday at Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St., with social time and dinner with music by the Secor String Trio and Christmas activity. Those attending are asked to bring a white elephant gift, something you already have at home. This year’s Christmas collection will be for the Lotus Community Project. Needed items include underwear, sweatpants, all sizes, men, women, kids; deep pocket fitted twin sheets; cleaning supplies; laundry detergent; toilet paper; paper plates; bowls and plastic utensils; Pop Tarts; granola bars; cereal; pasta and Fareway gift cards.
