KYL children’s department February events announced

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be hosting children’s events in February.

Tales Around the Town — Kendall Young Library along with local Webster City businesses will be taking storytime on the road. Each week families are invited to meet at a designated location, hear a story and experience the host location! February is full of excitement as we visit new places. No registration required. Just follow the signs for the fun!

Feb. 3 — The Cat Hut, 1118 Second St., Webster City — 5:30 p.m.

Feb. 10 — Fuller Hall, 625 Bank St., Webster City — 5:30 p.m.

Feb. 17 — Empower Nutrition, 916 Superior St., Webster City — 5:30 p.m.

Feb. 24 — Kendall Young Library, 1201 Willson Ave., Webster City — 5:30 p.m.

Wild Things (pre-K — second grade) will meet on Tuesdays from 3:45 to 5 p.m. in February. This time will offer a variety of stories and activities each week. Join us for all the adventures.

Fuzzy Ducklings (under three years) will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in February. This parent/child experience is fun for everyone.

Tween’s Time (third — fifth grade) will meet on Thursdays from 3:45 to 5 p.m. in February. They will explore crafts, STEM, cooking and so much more.

Homeschool TECH BUILD — Students will have time to work on a Gear Contraption on Feb. 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. where they can build and modify their project. This is designed for youth third through 12th grades and will be held each month in the Teen Area.
