KYL February teen events scheduled

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will be having variety of teen events throughout February.

Teen Lounge — Patrons in sixth through 12th grades are invited each Tuesday in February from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more. This time and place is perfect to hang out with friends and is a come-and-go style event.

Teen Book Club – Teens are invited to be a part of the 2025 Teen Book Club. We will be starting the year by reading “Family of Liars,” by E. Lockhart. Books are available at the Reference Desk starting today. We will plan to meet late in February on a date that works for the book club participants.

Homeschool TECH BUILD — Students will have time to work on a Gear Contraption on Feb. 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. where they can build and modify their project. This is designed for youth third through12th grade and will be held each month in the Teen Area.

As always, every day the Teen area located in the Kendall Young Library offers a variety of crafts, board games, community Lego build, Chromebooks, video games, books, and STEM Cart activities that are always available. Stop in for the fun.
