McKinneys both earn Miss Iowa pre-teen titles
Sisters will compete in national competition in November
OMAHA — Sisters Hadley and Landry McKinney of Fort Dodge both attained coveted awards here recently at the National American Miss state pageant.
Hadley McKinney, who is entering seventh grade at the Fort Dodge Middle School, was named the 2024 National American Miss Iowa Pre-Teen Queen. Landry McKinney, who will be a fifth grader this year at Feelhaver Elementary, earned the title of 2024 National American Miss Iowa Junior Pre-Teen Queen.
Hadley took first place for best resume, most photogenic, top actress, art contest and most recommendations. She was a first runner-up dream model, and second runner-up for runway and casual wear.
Landry won best resume, most photogenic, top actress, casual wear, runway and dream model honors. She was the first runner-up in the art contest.
The McKinneys were both sponsored by Re/Max of Fort Dodge. They are the daughters of Patrick and Lindsey McKinney, Fort Dodge.
The national competition is in Orlando over Thanksgiving this coming fall.
