OMAHA, Neb. — Anna Taylor and Brady Read, both of Omaha, Nebraska, were married April 29, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church, Fort Dodge, with the Rev. Dr. Austin Hill officiating.
Parents of the couple are Brent and Kathy Taylor, of Ames, formerly of Fort Dodge, and Monty and Lori Read, of Fort Dodge.
Matron of honor was Erin Handeland, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Ellie Helton. Bridesmaids were Lehr Thorson, Gretta Leigh and Sydnee Waggoner; and Alexis Read, sister of the groom. The bride’s personal attendants were Megan Peters and Courtney Tompkins, and Rebecca Read, sister-in-law of the groom.
Best men were Austin Read, brother of the groom, and Brad Welch. Groomsmen were Matthew Biegger, Nathan Robillard, Thomas Bejarno and Parker Ardary.
Flower girl and ring bearer were Elliotte Taylor and Wes Taylor, niece and nephew of the bride. Candlelighters were Freddy Taylor and Benny Handeland, nephews of the bride. Ushers were Daniel Taylor and David Taylor, brothers of the bride.
The bride is a 2017 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and received a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from Iowa State University in 2021. She is a graduate student in the physician assistant program at Creighton University, Omaha, and is scheduled to graduate with a master’s degree in December 2023.
The groom is a 2017 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High and received Bachelor of Science degrees in agricultural business and management information systems from Iowa State University in 2021. He is employed as a loan officer with Producers Livestock Marketing Association, Omaha.
