Katelyn Finnegan and Matthew Marvin

YPSILANTI, Mich. — Katelyn Finnegan and Matthew Marvin, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, are engaged.

Parents of the couple are Jim and Lori Finnegan, of Otho, and Paul and Sherry Marvin, of De Witt.

The wedding is planned for October 19, 2024 at Camp Courageous in Monticello.

Finnegan is a 2018 graduate of St. Edmond Catholic School in Fort Dodge, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2022 at Wartburg College in Waverly. She is currently pursuing a masters in Genetic Counseling at the University of Michigan.

Marvin is a 2018 graduate of Central Dewitt High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education in 2022 at UNI in Cedar Falls. He is currently pursuing a masters in Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa.
