Kim Meier holds the Iowa CPAs Month of Service Community Impact Award.

Kim Meier, an accountant with Bowser & Richman LLP in Fort Dodge, received the Iowa CPAs Month of Service Community Impact Award.

The award recognizes an individual for outstanding dedication to community through the commitment of time and resources, or positively impacting a specific group during the Iowa CPAs Month of Service held annually in September.

Meier’s volunteer efforts include serving with the Fort Dodge Noon Kiwanis, removing old carpet from the library, working with the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program — BASE on an exercise program for senior citizens, and serving on the board of directors for the Lotus Community Project, a homeless shelter for women and their children.
