Michael Hanrahan, a respiratory care technician in the Home Medical Equipment Store for UnityPoint Health — Fort Dodge, was named the November Employee of the Month.

He was nominated by the UnityPoint Clinic Kenyon Road — Pulmonology team, who describe him as a “lifesaver” in their department.

“No matter what the issue is, we know we can always count on Michael to help us solve the problem,” team members wrote. “He is willing to go above and beyond for our patients and always gets to the bottom of any issues to ensure they get the best care.”

While Hanrahan connects with patients and listens to their concerns, he also connects with each team member in Pulmonology.

“Although he may not work in the Pulmonology office, Michael plays a big role in keeping our office running smoothly,” his co-workers wrote.“We are so appreciative of him, and his willingness to help us with a happy and positive attitude.”
