The award recognizes non-nursing team members who rise above expectations to brighten the day of patients or team members through their brilliant exemplary service.

Aquino was nominated by Susan Quade, manager of Trinity Rehabilitation Services, who shared, “Benny will go out of his way to help guest services, nursing or other disciplines to ensure safe and timely patient care. His attitude is, ‘I am here to provide patient care.’ — and will do so for anyone needing lifting help, transportation assist or transfer help at the entrances. Benny has this attitude daily and works to educate and instill this in others within the rehab department or on the nursing units.”

Koch was nominated by Chad Gochee, who shared, “Tammy is filled with a contagious enthusiasm, which can be a vital part of a team’s long-term success. She goes out of her way to help others and does so with a smile on her face.”

Miller was nominated by Koch, who shared, “Justice works well with all departments and does his best to be available at any time he is needed. I have never witnessed Justice get up tight or stressed over any situation. He is very calm and is soft spoken when he deals with situations with staff, patients and his co-workers.”
